Military Children’s Mental Health

Children in military and veteran families face rising mental health issues and difficulty accessing care. The Bob Woodruff Foundation is working to bridge the gap.

Children’s mental health is a national crisis. For children in military and veteran families, mental health challenges are exacerbated by: frequent moves, deployments, access to care, and other service-related stressors. The Bob Woodruff Foundation pledged a $1M investment in military children’s mental health to ensure families can access mental health care, community support, and additional resources to help children thrive.
